Melanie Franco is a talented metalsmith who owns Black Amethyst in Arizona. Not only does she make/sell her unique heirloom art but, she also sources and sells unique crystals. I have been itching to shoot a styled product out in the desert, and she was up for the collab! We wanted a session that would solidify her brand and style. Luckily, model Sharayah Wilson was up to help style and model Melanie’s pieces.
We headed out for an early morning session in the Tonto National Forest. Melanie requested a black backdrop, and I planned to use the brilliant glow of the morning sun.
